Noura Ghabra is a Sustainability Consultant and Assistant Professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. Ghabra graduated from King Faisal University in Dammam as an interior architect with second honors in 2006 and had a professional experience at Zuhair Fayez Partnership Consultants. Then she pursued postgraduate studies in 2011 at the University of Nottingham where she obtained a master’s degree in architecture in Environmental Design. Her dissertation, focusing on the environmental performance of traditional Red Sea Style, received a distinction and was nominated for the RIBA President's Medals Student Awards for masters’ dissertations in 2012. In addition, her team was a winner at the CTBUH International Student Tall Building Design Competition in 2012. Ghabra received her PhD in Architecture in 2018 from the University of Nottingham, specialising in energy efficiency strategies for tall buildings in hot climates.
